Hot Folder deletes enclosing folder

Newbie here.
I’m trying to set up some hot folders, using folder actions and the Upload to FTP action. That part works fine. However, the next step is to move the files to the trash once the upload finishes, which is where my problem is. Automator moves the files to the trash, as well as the enclosing folder itself (the hot folder).
My actions (activated thru folder actions when files are added to a folder) :

Upload to FTP
Get Selected Finder items [also tried ‘Specified’ files here, nothing happened then]
Move to trash

And that’s it. Any tips?

Hello hauptmann,
It sounds like the Move To Trash action is recieving the Hot Folder, not the contents of the hot folder, as it should. Have you tried including the Get Folder Contents action after the Get Selected Finder Items - this should pass only the contents of the Hot Folder to the Move To Trash action.
