How do I tell a script to run when external drives are mounted?

Hello everyone. I want to build a script to back up a specific folder in my jump drive to another folder in my main drive every time I mount it. Is there a way to have a script run automatically when I mount the drive? As opposed to doing it manually with keyboard shortcuts which is the best I’ve come up with so far.

Browser: Safari 523.12.2
Operating System: Mac OS X (10.4)
