How to get the icon

I have been trough this forum and the Apple mailing list trying to get an answer to one simple question: How do I get the icon of an item.

In Classic I used Akua sweets: set imagePic to ((the icon for theFile) as picture)

Is there some osax or trick to get the Icon in AS Studio?
Help would be must appreciated.
