How to refer to all windows/documents?

I am new to Applescript so sorry if this is a dumb question:

I know how to refer to the front window or document in an application that is affected by an applescript .
But how do I refer to all windows/documents in an application?

Hi,

instead of front document or front window you can refer
either every document /every window which is the same as documents / windows
or single elements with document i / window i (i is an index number)
