I am new to automator, and I have come up with an idea for a use for it. I am in the process of ripping all of my movies that I own on DVD and placing them onto an external drive to create a bit of a media server for home use.
I am using Mac The Ripper to rip the DVD’s to my computer then Handbrake to convert them to the proper format and move them to the hard drive.
Is there a way to set up a workflow to do this automatically as soon as I insert a DVD? That way I won’t need to keep checking it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please be easy on me, I am a complete noob to automator.
