iCal 3.0 calendar storage?

I’ve been reworking my magnum opus iCal event recurrence predictor script ” originally developed against iCals 1.5 and 2.0 ” so that it now also works with iCal 4.0 and with the impaired AppleScript date manipulation in Snow Leopard.

The only difference between iCal versions as far as the script’s concerned is where they keep their .ics files. (These contain entire calendars in iCals 1.5 and 2.0 and individual events in iCal 4.0.) Does anyone know the storage arrangements for iCal 3.0, which came with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard? Googling produces a few hits, but the answers don’t agree and don’t give the detail I want.

iCal 1.5: ~/Library/Calendars/.ics
iCal 2.0: ~/Library/Application Support/iCal/Sources/.calendar/corestorage.ics
iCal 3.0: ?
iCal 4.0: ~/Library/Calendars/.calendar/Events/.ics

Hi Nigel,

the data location of iCal 3 and 4 is equal

Thanks, Stefan!

Hope you’re having a nice weekend.

I’m running iCal 3.0.8 in Leopard on my PM G5 and confirm that a typical calendar event has the address you specify for iCal 4.x

Thanks for the additional confirmation, Adam. Hope you had a nice weekend too.
