Icon Composer and the 1024 pixel question

Hi,

I downloaded this morning the new Xcode 4.6 on my Mountain Lion iMac and the latest Graphic Tools available.
When I launch Icon Composer (that is version 2.4) the max size for icons is 512 pixels.

My friend use Mountain Lion with an old Icon Composer version 2.2 that have a 1024x1024 button at the right of 3 existing buttons called Images, Masks and Preview.

Why in latest version this button don’t appear?

PS: The problem appear also with other version of icon Composer released in August Tools.
