if not exists… (from container to folder)

I have a solution in Filemaker8 (FMP) that requires an AppleScript scripting addition.

Is is possible with FMP/AppleScript to check for an ‘AppleScript scripting addition’ file, and if is does not exists, export the zipped addition from a container field within FMP to the desktop, expand it, then move into main libraries scripting additions folder.
