I'm A newbie and need some help!

Hey everyone… I just decided to take on applescript last night after years of dedicated mac usage. I just need a good starting point to being programming in applescript… I was wondering if anyone has a good manual or good tips to use while I being my adventure into applescript… I run an iMac G3 400 DV with MacOS 9.2.1 so I cannot use the functionaity of MacOS X. Could someone please help me out?
Maybe a good PDF tutorial document?
if anyone can you can reach me at my email address sportster13@shaw.ca
Thanx to everyone that will help me in advance.

I would start with any of the links at this website. Try the Scripter magazines first, then follow the book links. Apple itself has some good .pdf documents. One thing about the books, though, order them through the internet. I have been to Barnes and Noble countless times and only ONCE did they have the Danny Goodman “AppleScript Handbook.”

And if you are going to look for ANY books online go to http://www.addall.com first. I am not affilliated in any way. But I have always found the best prices there. It searches over 40 online booksellers and reports the prices, conditions, shipping, etc
