Integer to Month

Is there simple way to make an integer into a month? I know that, for instance, December as integer → 12, but I don’t know how to go in the other direction.

I don’t know if this will help, but this works:

month of date "Thursday, April 10, 2008 12:00:00 AM" as integer   --4
