Where can I find out info on whether Energy Saver control panel
is scriptable?
Or if you know, could you please tell me how to:
change the “separate timing for display sleep” setting.

I was using ‘Energy Saver’ with MacOS 8.6 and found it to not be scriptable.
I was able to accomplish my desire to set startup time changes using the scripting addition ‘Power Manager’ which is available in the Scripting Additions at this site.
I am not sure if this will accomplilsh what you want to do but you can download it and read it’s dictionary. If not search the Scripting Additions for other possibilities.
