Basically, I just got a friend of mine to switch to OS X. The thing is that she was using Juno on PC, and needed all her contacts to be carried over. With some messing around, I managed to export the contacts into CSV format and transfer them over to Address Book on the Mac (running Tiger, by the way). One issue, however, is that the contact names were transfered as “Full Name” into Address Book and were exported as “Last Name, First Name” on the PC. Is it possible to write up a script that will use this “Last Name, First Name” format within the “Full Name” fields of Address Book and properly transfer that info into the First Name and Last Name fields of Address Book? As it is now, it’s practically unusable with 450 contacts and screwy sorting and searching capabilities.
