Is this possible: call applescript app to handle data from a HTML form

I have an app that handles incoming data. What I want is that data can be edited from a HTML-form and on commit is sent to an AppleScript app.

I have a local Apache server up and running/

you can use ‘do shell script’ to call curl to do all kinds of things with HTML forms. it’s possible there are other methods as well.
