Masterfile is the largest stock photo library in Canada.
We are looking to hire an Image Processing Technician with AppleScript, Perl and colour management skills to operate, maintain and improve various automated image processing workflows, running on Mac OS X.
These workflows are currently implemented as a set of scripts – written in Perl and AppleScript – which automate the processing of images files. This means mostly verification of image attributes, labelling and re-sizing of images, and efficient management of very large numbers of image files. The scripts automate the functions of Photoshop, Image Magick and sips.
This is a full time position located in downtown Toronto.
