I have a Shortcut that copies image based text to the clipboard. On moving to macos 27.0 beta it fails. Any idea why?
Well, a big reason may be that macOS 27 beta is not a production release and any and everything may break in it. You are asking us to perform a seance in the absence of your code or being beta testers ourselves — which I choose not to be.

normanicus. I suspect that you are referring to the Mac’s Live Text feature. I’m running macOS 27.0 Public Beta 2, and this feature works fine. However, after upgrading, I had to enable the Live Text feature in System Settings > Language & Region, and you might want to check that.
I’m not sure how you would use the Live Text feature in a shortcut, so perhaps you are referring to the Extract from Image action. This also works fine on my computer, but a permissions issue might prevent the shortcut from running. These permissions include those specified in System Settings and the shortcut itself (see screenshot below):
