Mountain Lion blocks AppleScript app

Hi, I’ve just written a script for my colleagues and saved it as a run only Application and it turns out it cannot be run on machines running Mountain Lion. :o

Is there a way around it?

So, it sounds like you are not creating it on a Mac running Mountain Lion? What OS are you using?

Any other details would help isolate the problem. Is this just some Finder actions, or a complicated script involving other applications?

Model: iMac
Browser: Firefox 3.6.4
Operating System: Mac OS X (10.6)

Are you sure that your friend set the required preference to the correct setting ?

System Preferences > Security & Confidentiality > General
at the bottom of the pane is a group of three radio button.
As your application is not signed, click the very bottom one (entitled something like Everywhere)

When the application will be accepted once, you will be able to change the setting for a better protection.

I’m on Lion and it’s just a simple AppleScript involving another application to make it create a new document and prefill some fields.
