okay i am writing a script that make a certain action “on adding items”. But the script is not working if an item “name” already exsit. How can i check " if item is in folder" for example “then deny the delivery”.

“on adding items” actions are triggered when folder contents change.
Give the file a new, unique name when replacing or you have to find another event.
To “deny the delivery”:
- click “Cancel” on Finder warning when file already exists.
- list folder targetfolder to find out existing item names in folder
