newbie assistance

Wow after searching this forum I realize that I know nothing about applescript. Where can I find a list of available commands and there syntax? I have opened the Dictionary files for the Finder and some Apps but I didnt see stuff like copy, move, etc maybe I’m just missing something but I need a freaking manual.

Please point me in the right direction.

Hi,

You’re looking in the right place (the dictionary). ‘move’ is an application command and is listed at the top section under Standard Suite. ‘copy’ is ususally an AppleScript command and is used to dulicate variables without sharing values.
