I’ve been going around in circles trying to do this and could really use some help.
I’m trying to create an automator workflow (or applescript if not possible in automator) that will rename a pdf file based on the associated pdf keywords.
I’ve managed using “Ask for finder items” followed by “Get PDF Metadata” to extract the keyword from the pdf but then have no idea how to use that variable information to change the file name to something containing the keyword information.
In a perfect world the new file name will look something like this: keyword-todays date
I would really appreciate anyone who can share how to do this.
