I regularly need to trim an mp3 file for my spoken word podcast. I record it in mp3 which makes it 32-bit, then use Audacity to export it in 16-bit (still mp3). This is rather a fiddle, and I have no other use for Audacity. I’m wondering whether this could be done using Applescript, e.g. in association with itunes.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
