Now i know this may sound ridiculous, but can I, using applescript, open a dialog box on another computer in my network, that is a PC running windows xp? Or is there no compatibility between applescripted applications and windows. ANd if it is possible could someone please guide me along the right path?

I don’t think so, the windoze computer would not understand the apple events sent to it by applescript. There may be some indirect way of doing it, though, and if so, the wise ones will post directly…
