I use a spreadsheet in apple Numbers to track my calories. One thing that bothers me is with the popup menus. I use popup menus to select a food item. Based on that selection I use Vlookup’s to lookup macros in another table. However often times I add a new item (or delete one) I would have to do so in both the lookup table and the popup menu. Is there a way to have the pop-up menu sync with the look up table so that when I add a new item in the lookup table the change is reflected in the popup menu automatically. I know with Microsoft Excel you can assign a menu to a lookup table, but you can’t do the same thing in Numbers. I’ve asked ChatGTP and it recommends that I use a script so I thought I would post this question on this forum for assistance. I have zero experience with Apple scripting so your expert guidance is appreciated. I wonder if there’s a way to upload my file here?
