I may be in the wrong place, but someone has to know…
I am trying to run a postflight script with Apple’s Installer application.
I built the postflight script into the package, named it the proper name (postflight) and it just does not execute with Installer. For that matter, none of the scripts execute (preflight, preinstall, postinstall, etc etc). The execute bit is on, and the files is owned by root:wheel with rwx for owner, group and others (as packagemaker does this automatically, but I did check). The scripts work fine when I run them from terminal, but Installer won’t touch them. I must be missing something simple, like naming the script wrong or something. I am using packagemaker 1.1.10, and I know in previous version the script name was different. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
