PCheese, in here please (macsig related)

I’m new to AppleScript and basicaly I want to do something very similar to your macsig application, just that people will send system information to one big PHP/mySQL application that generates a graph that shows the trend of different system specs of Mac users.

Now if I could have a look at the source of your macsig, that would really help me out. I would give you full credit on my site ( www.osxcode.com ).

If you don’t want to give out the source, no problem, it will be interesting to do it on my own as well.

Hahaha you are very very lucky. I’m about to go on vacation and wasn’t going to check these boards for almost a month, but I just happened to type macsig into google and found this topic.

Sure, you can have a look. I’ve been meaning to release at least portions of the code, it’s just that I’ve been working on ampsig.com for hours and hours. =) It’s still a bit buggy in some spots and I’m going through a major rewrite, but I don’t mind helping out. I sent you an email.

Credit is appreciated, yup.

The major problem with macsig at the moment is that it’s not a background app, and LUIElement broke in Tiger. =\

Everyone else, if you want I’ll post a link once I get macsig code cleaned up (not for a couple weeks at least though).

Thx a lot, just got your mail.

Of course. Btw, I’ve written about macsig at my blog about two weeks ago: http://www.osxcode.com/2005/07/24/a-dynamic-mac-signature/

I did search for an email to contact you on your site and in your app, but there was nothing … and than I’ve seen your posts over here.
