Hey Guys,
applescripting (photoshop CS4) the file name into jpgs but now want to make the text’s background black.
That is: how would I add a black rectangle with white text in it to a JPEG?
Any suggestions? -You’re the best! 
As you are saving to jpeg you will be discarding the layers so you could just find the bounds of your text layer then make a selection of the background layer a couple of pixels larger and fill that selection with black.
