Print to PDF - scripting the print dialogue?

Hello there

I’m trying to find out if there’s any way to script the (10.2.x) print dialogue so’s I can jump straight to the Print to PDF filename dialogue? I’ve heard a rumour that it can’t be done in script, but may be possible in a shell script.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think I did it before. If you have Sytem Events beta I think I can do it again. Are you opening the dialog a particular way? Also, if you have pdf workflow enabled, then it’s a little difficult as I remember it.

Yeah, I just tried again and you can do all kinds of stuff with System Events beta to the print window.
