Hi,
I have seen a similar post before, I think in AppleScript Studio list, but I could not quite understand the reply to the poster. At least, I did not think the problem was clarified. Now, I ran into the same problem and would like to revisit the issue.
I have a tab view item that is populated by different handlers which get activated by clicking radio buttons. The handlers are supposed to do some tasks, the progress of which are indicated by the progress bar or further answers are captured in ensuing dialog boxes.
The handlers which are activated by clicking the radio buttons call another external handler that activates the progress bar.
The thing that I can’t figure out is why the handlers work in some cases but at other times, or in other handlers they don’t. I often have to resort to clicking the view item window to bring them out to the front.
I’ve tried different things like bringing applications like “Finder” or other related applications to the front and a few other variations with no clearcut results. Are there some settings that I am missing, such as in the IB?
Any help or leads?
TIA
