I’m using a Mac IIci under OS 7.1 as a “localtalk bridge” to make a LaserWriter 4/600 work with Mac OS X.
Now I’d like to have a script to shut it down remotely from the Mac OS X machine.
tell application “Finder Liaison 1.1” of machine “IIci” to shut down
works fine under OS9 to make the IIci shut down - but I cant make any script work on the Mac OS X-machine to do anything on a classic machine. What failiures are possible - firewall, or whatever?
