Remove attachments and forward

I receive a regular e-mail in OSX (10.3.9) Mail which I would like to automatically (I am currently doing it manually) forward to another email address. However, I need to remove attachments first and just send the text, to enable it to get thru to the recipient (SPAM filters, I believe)

I can do this easily in “Rules”, apart from the “removing attachments” bit.

I know nothing/zero/zilch about programming or scripting, but given that “Remove Attachments” is a menu item in Mail, I assume it is possible to incorporate this into a script??

Is anyone aware of a script I could download from somewhere to do this (I could call it up under “rules”), or, alternatively, could some kind soul help an old Luddite out and whip one up for me? I’m sure it is only a couple of lines, but I can’t for the life of me work out how to write it myself - and I have tried. “Recording” doesn’t seem to work either.

Thanks in hopeful anticipation

Problem for potential answers here Hendrix, is that there were big changes to Mail from 10.3 to 10.4, and most of us are running 10.4.

Thanks Adam.

Guess I’ll have to keep doing it the old-fashioned way…using 10 (actually 2!) digits.
