Safari Refresh Help

I am trying to write an applescript that I can run that will delete all Safari bookmarks and then import a file of Safari bookmarks into Safari. Basically a replace and refresh script for a school computer.

I work at an elementary school, and the students seem to keep messing with Safari. So I was thinking of a solution that would allow the kids to think they are altering the computers, but upon startup the computer loads this applescript and clears out all the old bookmarks and inserts the approved list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first of all, please post such a request into the OS X forum.

The easiest way is to quit Safari, replace ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist and relaunch Safari
