Scheduling Applescript

Hello all:

I was wondering (as newbies do) if there is a way to schedule an Applescript for a certain time, say 12:00AM every day to tell an application which is scriptable to stop doing something. I will need the Applescript to start up what it stopped after a given interval. (I believe I know how to do this part; with an end tell and return X for the # of seconds I want it to wait). I need an app to stop so I can do a backup. Any help on how to import that script in Retrospect 5.1 for OS 9.2.2 would also be greatly appreciated.

I might suggest using iCal to schedule running the script.

i suggest t-minus ten and the sleep commands scripting addition.
