I’m running the demo version of SD3 in OS X 10.3.9 and I’ve encountered a problem I can’t trace. One of the many neat features of SD3 is that copying a selected event in a dictionary enables pasting a template of the command into a script document.
For some reason this doesn’t work for me - the Edit>Copy as Template choice is there, but Paste remains dimmed no matter where I place the cursor in my script.
Is this an artifact of the Demo?
AND THE ANSWER IS… Yes. Paste is disabled in the Demo. This is reasonable, after all, because otherwise, having Save disabled wouldn’t be effective. One would just copy from Script Debugger and paste it into Script Editor to save from there.)
