Script Editor not working

My Script Editor works OK in OS 9.2 but not in OS X 10.5; all things OK except in Recordfunction nothing happens.
What to do to fix this? Am newbie in AScr.

I have the same issue, although I got the last release of script editor for Mac OSX.
But I have no answer yet, I’m a newbie too

The Finder, and many applications are not yet recordable in Mac OS X.

So is there ANY app that can be recordable ?

BBEdit, Tex-Edit Plus and QuickTime Player to name a few. There are others but I don’t have a list handy. The easiest way to tell is to start recording in Script Editor and then perform a task in the app that you want to record. If code shows up in Script Editor’s window, the app is recordable.
