Script for Finder to show file size?

new i am. but is there a way o script my finder to show the file size of and item without “get info”. or several selected items without opening multiple info windows (you know, like windows…)

I’m guessing you are using Mac OS X 10.4, aka Tiger. Using ‘Get Info’ in Tiger brings up a separate window for each file or folder selected, to a limit of 10 files.
If you want to get the total file size, either press command-control-I for ‘Get Summary Info’ (command is the key next to the spacebar, with the apple logo and four-leaf-clover; control is the one at the corner), or bring up ‘The Inspector’ by pressing command-option-I, which continously floats, for any file selected, until triggered again or the window closed. As I said above, plain ‘Get Info’ has a limit of 10 files, defaulting to the ‘Get Summary Info’ behaviour for a selection of more than 10 files/folder.
