Script to Add a stroke to text based on color of text

I am trying to figure out if this is possible:

Using InDesign, select text based on color and add a stroke to that text if it matches the color selected.

Is this possible?

You should be able to. Note, I don’t think you need to actually select anything.

Look up the find text preferences and change text preferences.

There is a brief discussion in the scripting guide in the Text and Type chapter under Finding and changing text formatting. Note, this is from an older version so YMMV.

Hi!

Thank you for the suggestion!!

It worked like a charm!

I was able to make quick work of adding the stroke to the reverse copy.
