Beating my head against a rock. Has anyone seen a script that would be able to check the codec (correct term) or the video in iTunes to make sure that it will sync to iphone/ iPad. I can’t be the only one with this problem. I have tons of videos that some are compatible, some aren’t and the only way I find out is when my wife tries to sync the ipad or iphone and it chokes.
I’ve run into the same problem. I can’t for the life of me figure out what the difference is between the different files. Some .mp4 sync fine, some don’t. Some .m4v sync fine, some don’t. Some files sync with my iPhone 2g, but not my wife’s newer iPod nano, or the other way around. If you can figure it out, I’d sure like to know.
