I’ve written a quite large application that uses Photoshop to process files with 24U Appearance OSAX for the interface.
It works fine on my G5 and my G4 laptop but I’m trying to install it on a colleague’s G4 and it errors with ‘Scripting Component Error’. Can any good soul enlighten me to the meaning of this?
I’m just venturing a guess here based on your information, but are you sure the Photoshop scripting plug-ins are installed
I’m pretty sure that the Photoshop plugin is installed. The script bombs out before any calls are made to Photoshop anyway. I’m suspecting it might be a problem with the 24U appearance OSAX. However, the first dialog box using the OSAX works ok but the ‘Scripting compnent error’ appears before the second dialog. Confusing.
