I can’t get Applescript to launch Entourage (Office X) and then choose from its Menu Bar Tools / Run Shedule / . The Applescript launchs Entourage but the Shedule does not run. In fact, the instruction to run the shedule does not appear in the Applescript Editor window. (I am creating the script using Applescript’s Recording feature.) Can’t Applescript do what I want? (I am new to Applescript and have searched your FAQ and other sources.) (I know that Entourage can regularly run a shedule, but I also want to run it easily manually.) Applescript Editor v. 2.0

How can I get some way to automate the running of ?

Yes, most of apps are not “recordable”. You can try this:

tell application "Microsoft Entourage" to execute schedule "<My Shedule>"
