I need to change a file name in a folder from illus. to illus.eps
I do not know anything about applescripting, but I had a sample script that would find/change file names in a specified folder with OS9. Now it doesn’t work in OSX. I have the folder on my desktop. The folder name is PAGES. Inside the PAGES folder are individual folders for each page, I have 1400 pages. I need to be able to find file names and change them in a specified folder.

Can anyone help???

Would you post your script? Then maybe we can see what broke in OS X. The logic for changing names is essentially the same.
