scripting selections in PhotoShop 7.01

Hi,

I’m new to applescript but this seems to be the best way of accomplishing my task. I have a bunch of pictures of standard size and a region i want to copy from each. Can anyone help me with the code (in PS 7.0.1) in order to make a selection from coordinates, and then crop it. I did search but there seems to be some conflicts between how to do it in CS and version 7.
