I’m new to Xcode, but have a good understanding of Applescript. I have an Applescript that will find a pic, and put it in a document. I’ve merged the simple functions (buttons) to script functions (changing printers).
What I’m having trouble with is getting/setting the search field to pass the name typed in (complete name) to the script (to find it and palce it into a doc)
Can anyone show/tell me the class settings I need to give the field, and then how to simply set what was typed in to a varable the script can use.
