Sending messages to script

I have script that takes long to start and i need it quickly many times a day.

Is have saved it as Stay Open and hidden it using Drop Script Backgrounder.

Now is it possible that when user press F10 or CTRL+0 then that script does something?

I have FastScripts if that helps.

a solution might be to use the reopen handler when the script is stay open
