Set iMac As iOS Device in Xcode 15

Xcode 15 offers ‘Mac (Designed for iPad)’ as an option under ‘Supported Destinations’, but I can’t see any means to select my mac (Ventura) under >> Window >> Devices and Simulators.

This is understandable in one sense, but the option is offered and outlined here:

Is there a way to select the current device (my mac) as the device/simulator for my iOS app?

You have always been able to run iOS simulators on your Mac with xCode. You just need to make sure that you install the simulators you want to use.

Check your XCode settings->platforms
