setting a time

I’m new at scripting… How do you set the time in a script, like to do something at … say “1 AM” ??

There are various ways to do this, and believe me I have tried them all, you could set a variable to the system time, but I favour downloading I_DO scheduler. Write a script save it as a classic applet(make sure you put a Tell me quit at the end and then schedule it with the sharware I-do scheduler.
It’s ace and it works seamlessly.

“iDo Script Scheduler”, by Sophisticated Circuits, can be downloaded from their website or may already be on your Mac OS CD-ROM disk.
