Is there easier way to do this?

This fails:

set list_a to {}
set item 1 of list_a to “a”

This fails too:

set list_a to {}
set testing to “a”
set testing to end of list_a

But this works but this is long:

use this:

set list_a to {} set end of list_a to "a"
or

copy "a" to end of list_a

the other way around

set end of list_a to testing

or

copy testing to end of list_a
