simple move script

One of the lovely feature of Mac OS X is it’s ability to check the spelling of a word, this feature was not implemented in Carbon, however Apple has made a great work on this and gives lovely examples for developers. I’ve build a new osax ‘XSpell’ that lets you check the spelling of a word and gives you ‘guesses’ if you have made a spelling mistake. An volunteer to try it ?

If it will work in Jaguar, I’ll be happy to try it.

Yep, it’s Jaguar (I’ve not yet upgraded to Panther). You’ll find it in the same place :

Nice, JB! Initial test results are favorable. This osax will be very handy, particularly when bundled with other scripts and AppleScript Studio apps!

[Tested in OS X 10.2.8]

It can be also useful for scriptable carbon application that don’t have access to the ‘Spelling System’ :=)

Works fine under Panther, JB… Nice work again!

Cool! Very handy, although, Rob, AS Studio apps are Cocoa apps and, as such, already have access to the spelling system.

This occurred to me after I posted but I was too lazy to edit the post. :stuck_out_tongue:
