Terminal: Running scripts on another computer

HI All,
I am trying to figure out a way to use terminal scripts to trigger a script on another computer (not on the network). Is there a way to do this? Presently, I have used Apple Mail (rules) to receive a specific subject heading and then run the script. This is fine, but of course it takes awhile.

I would like to figure out a terminal command to fire this script on another computer.

Thank you for your help.

Do a forum search or google search for “remote apple events”. You can run a script on your local computer which targets applications on a remote computer. You just have to enable this in the sharing preference pane. This is the easiest way to run applescripts on remote computers.
