The path of the script

Someone can tell me how to read the name of the folder of my script?
I must to modify the content of a file placed in the same folder of the script but I don’t know how to read where it is.

Here it is, gives you the alias including the script name.

set myPath to path to me

Without the script name (containing folder).
Note that you need: tell “Finder” now.

tell application “Finder” to set myPath to container of (path to me) as alias
