I stumbled upon a not-so-obvious use for command-dragging application icons from the dock. If you command-drag an application icon and drop it on Script Editor’s dock icon, that app’s AppleScript dictionary (if it has one) will open in Script Editor. Pretty cool!
This is extremely cool, as you put it. Furthermore, I’ve just discovered, if you are a QuickSilver user (and if you’re not you should try it), you can drag the icon from the left pane of a QuickSilver bezel window (Control Key not required) to the ScriptEditor with the same effect. Since QS will find the app. for you, that really speeds the process.
Great tip.
