Upgrade Xcode

my question is, is there any need to upgrade Xcode 2.4 to 2.4.1 for AS Studio-Programming?

Do you have a reason not to update? Typically, it’s a good idea to keep up to date with the IDE.

If nothing else, this is worth downloading:

Popup buttons now stay open while editing.
To fix a previous bug, popup buttons closed after an item was edited. Now popup buttons remain open for editing until the mouse is clicked outside of the popup button.

Holy crap, quoting this for truth. I practically cheered when they made this change.

:lol: I, too, have been banging my head over the popup button quirk.

While most of the changes between versions may seem superficial and probably won’t effect your development too much… if at all… I’m going with Mikey-San on this one. No sense in ignoring the update if it’s available and it’s reasonable for you to get it. My only hesitation would be relative to your download speed. Obviously, if you’re on dialup the 1gb download would be unrealistic. If you’re on a high speed network, though, I’d definitely recommend getting it.
